Who is Cana?

I’m a digital artist who was born and raised in Brazil. I’m now based out of the East Coast in the US where I experiment with art on the daily basis.

I started creating digital art in the early 2000’s as part of the first wave of digital art in Brazil and dedicated many years to being a creative in the art and design industry.

Inspired by the surrealism movement, I use the eye as a symbol to portray my imagery with the intention to show the eye what is not there to see.

Creating a bond between dream and reality that confuses and intrigues the mind. When you look at my pieces eye to eye, you will see what's there. Everyone sees something different but we all see something

Crypto Art

In the beginning of 2021 after hearing all the buzz around Beeple and NFTs I decided to take a leap of faith and dive in the NFT world head first.

After a few weeks of research I minted my first piece back in March 2021. I started off on Rarible with my introduction to NFT in which my focus was just break in and really learn about the technology and become part of the crypto art movement.

Once I became familiar with the scene I decided to go all in and started really finding myself with my art. I started to mint my works on Hic et Nunc on tezoz and eventually started selling my 1/1 art on foundation and focusing on refining my art.

Currently I’m still dropping my 1/1 art on Foundation. I have a collection of editions on my own manifold contract and I also have this really cool collection on tezos with digital collages that I love to make on my down time.

I believe NFTs are the future and I’m here to be remembered as an active member of the crypto art movement.
